I felt it needed more work than I was willing to do. Runs strong, but body needs work.

Owner is a nice enough guy -- pretty accomodating of my schedule. The car may have been fine for me, but it would have been my first and I was holding out for something that was more, ummm, polished.

Thanks for the info. I've been in touch with the owner, so we'll see where it goes. I've requested more complete info and photos than he provided in his CL listing.

I'm also looking for my first '02. At my price range ($2k-$3k), I know I won't find something perfect, but I'd rather find one that runs well and needs mostly cosmetic work (body and interior).
