I like the idea of a place for projects, but I was wondering if everyone would like a gallery-type format with individual albums. Similar to Roadfly, with comments under each image (if you choose). It would be a little more organized in my opinion.
I could get a domain name that would be appropriate and have a dedicated site, or talk the guys who run this site into making one. 8-)

Sounds like a good idea... Sometimes I wonder exactly what each person on here drives, is building etc. This could be used for more than just the project concept, maybe for photgraphs from events etc.
This sort of thing does cost a lot of money however, we must be mindful of this - it would require extra storage etc. for it to work properly.

It depends. There still needs to be a blog and links in the blog to pictures that at least open in separate windows. The one cool thing about the format on this site is that its written in the natural order of events - i.e. the first post is older than the last post. If we went to a gallery view, there would need to be some type of blog that follows the natural order of things. I know its not as organized as say a restoration guide, but I don't think it needs to be. If you want that, then go to Barnes n Noble and buy one. That's just my thoughts on the subject.

there is a plan to implement a gallery section on the site and give people some limited storage for images. It's just not fully developed yet.
