Subject: Victorian 02 Drive! - Pics

Today was the day of the Victorian 02 drive in the Yarra Ranges. It was a great turnout with either 16, 17 or 18 (neither myself or todd can count :-P) cars showing up...

Apart from the inclement weather in the morning it was a great day. We started in Yarra Glenn for a coffee and a chat before heading to Glenburn Pub for lunch. We then moved along to a pine plantation where there was a photo opportunity for drivers before finishing at the St Andrews Pub for refreshments (in sunny weather!!!). For those of you who dont know, Melbourne is the city where you can get every season in a day....

Unfortunatly alot of my photos are a bit dodgey but Todd, Shaun and Timbo took lots of top shots which should be posted up soon! :-)

Id like to thank Todd for his photography work and Shaun for helping with settiing about the route as well as Doug and Graeme for doing much of the organising. And a big thanks to all those who came even in the bad weather!

A big thankyou to you and all involved in organising todays drive. A fantastic turnout and an inspired location for driving - particularly loved the Kinglake -St Andrews road! Will post some more shots over the next couple of days........

Oh yeah, I counted 17 at pub 2 and 16 at the pine plantation... Hahaha, I could have sworn there was 18 at Pub 1... _________________

Here are the pics from the weekend...

Thanks to all the suspects for organising, I was soooo disappointed that I couldnt have my car there amongst all the other fine examples, from mild to slightly wild (I'm refering to the owners :-P) I had a great day, the weather couldnt dampen enthusiasm for such a fun little car!

I cant wait til the next run! I say Great Ocean Road!

More pics from Rodney... FJORD!!!! THe most popular color for the day. At the pub with the leaky roof - it was made of straw!?! That is me on the phone - my mum called to make sure i was still alive:-P, Timbo in the striped shirt and Mack in the black jumper. A 135º park!?! The speed limit around most of those roads is 100km/h and in the dry its alot of fun but we had to take it a little bit easier in the wet. figured out what "oburt" is yet?

I think the guy u were talking about was David McAvoy... i think Todd has his email :-)

For the photos posted by myself and Todd, we hosted them on photobucket which automatically resizes them for you. It takes a little while to upload them on the site but once you do, its easy. You just copy the img. url thing that is under the pic onto your post.
