Usual disclaimers apply, I haven't seen the car and I don't know the owner

I've started to develop a taste for those little buggers.

The only one I ever saw locally was a red coupe at a small used car dealer about 20 years ago.

Harry,

The 700 is a very cool bimmer! I bought some BMW posters from www.parc.de a couple of years ago and included were 2 BMW 700 posters. I kept one and sent one to Andrey, the fellow that set up the Neue Klasse website with Bob Kaufmann. Andrey posted photos for me and in return, I sent him a 700 poster. That would be the nuts, having a 700!

Hey, Tim

I've been told by a couple of friends that there is a wrecked 700 somewhere in the southern part of the island. I'm going to have to do another Old BMW archaelogical expedition soon to see if I can find it. They also told me about a NK parts car a couple of years ago, but it was gone to the crusher by the time I went there.

You might remember the first time I went to check out a couple of cars with them. I "found" an italian-spec tii, a pristine Sahara '68 2002 and a couple more abandoned '02's. I posted some pics back then (maybe two years ago.

There HAVE to be more 60's and 70's BMW's around. There were a couple of local dealers selling new ones back then. Heck, we even have a BMW LeBlond here from the 50's (only two are known to exist)! They were coach-built in France and use a BMW 328 engine from the '30's.

Harry,

I don't get the Roundel anymore but there used to be a fellow in Maryland that advertised in the classifieds section and he had BMW 700 parts. I may hit up a couple salvage yards this spring, see what bimmers are in those, used to a few in a salvage yard about 45 minutes from my place, another had a euro E-12 525 and a euro E-23 728i. This is the 700 poster I have.

Tim.
