Subject: Suggestion: Can we create a new forum?

I love the FAQ and this forum as it has helped me along with numerous items on my beloved tii. I've owned it since 12/77 and have turned wrenches on it since.

The thing I enjoy for the most part is the great insight, experience and general helpfulness of the forum members. That said, I feel that several recent threads, posted in the General and Off-Topic forums are souring the overall mood of the forums. That's just my opinion and I'm sure there are others.

My suggestion is that can we create a new forum where people could post this type of discussions? Maybe it could be called the Acerbic Forum.

Acerbic \uh-SUR-bik\, adjective:
Sharp, biting, or acid in temper, expression, or tone.

I'm not calling for censorship or for the moderators to move/remove threads as this is not roachfly. I know this is public forum and I’m free to read/view threads as I want. Just my '02 cents worth.

i think, unless the mod's censor threads, by deletion & moving them, like you said shouldn't be done...some threads & topics, regardless of how they start may not end as the author intended...fundamental human nature

Why even post that and add more fuel?? Thats a troll post in itself.

Anyways, I agree with the other post; say whatever you want, just keep it in the off-topic forum please.

Or we could add a forum called "fabrication/porn", like another site has. There is ALWAYS something that catches your eye! :)
