You need to cut out the fiberglass rib on the back of the seat that hits the wheel well and switch the seat belt retractor and buckel end so the retrator is on the drive shaft tunnel side and the buckel is on the outside.

about how much of the fiberglass in the back do i need to cut out. some rough estimate would help or a picture. and if i cut this out wouldn't it make it really uncomfortable to sit in for your back?

If you cut the rib out flush with the seat back should get you to the point where the seat is sitting back far enough to fit. It will only leave a 2" wide strip off the back and you won't feel that thru the padding. But go slow and only remove as much as needed to get a fit and wear a dust mask while cutting as it makes a lot of dust.

Light a match, vinyl melts, leather does not. do it on the back or underneath. Beaner7102
