Planning on utilizing the original airfilter--bulkhead--exhaust manifold heat riser setup. I know the manifold doesn't have any emissions connections, but what about the 8mm bolt holes? 2 top-2 side?
Thanks,

That bolted to the original exh manifold? And would always get loose and rattle??? I don't think there's mounting holes in the tii manifold...
A better answer is an exhaust gasket from a 318i. Has built in heat sheild for the plugs and wires, nice peice available from any dealership!

My tii manifold does have the holes you are talking about and a sheet steel heat shield on it. (say that 5 times fast!)
