that is big, but i dont have 500.00 to pay for brakes like that. im talking about a cheap alternitave like 320i disks or something and if i do get 320i disks would i need the caliper also?

That has been an often discussed item on the chat line, why not do a search or check the FAQs. I'm in the process of installing 323i rotors on a 2002 using Volvo brakes based on the FAQs.

I have 320i vented rotors and calipers on the front of my '76 '02. I don't remember having any fitment problems.
