Subject: E21 FS, for parts or rebuild

I have a 1980 320iS for sale. VIN#7169007, white w/black interior.
This car was in great condition and everything was working fine until the oil filter decided to spring a leak and the engine ran out of oil. Needless to say the engine is history. The rest of the car, an original sport model, is in very good condition. I would prefer to sell it as is for $1000 or I am going to be forced to part it out. This is a great candidate for a new or rebuilt motor. The tranny shifts smooth and doesn’t grind at all. The original Recaro seats have been reupholstered and the rear seat is non-original black vinyl and in excellent condition. The carpet is perfect and original as well. The dash has a couple of heat cracks. The sunroof is manual and is working fine. All door panels are original and in great shape. All tools are present and accounted for in the trunk tool box. The wheels are original BBS alloys. The paint was reshot 2 years ago with some bodywork on the driver’s door that is visible. The A/C was working fine when the car stopped running.
If you have a 2002 this car will give you a 5sp tranny, LSD and interior and steering wheel and anything else you want to swap. The engine had 177K miles when it died. The car is located in Modesto, California.
