It would be nice if you visited a post, and then hit back in the browser, if it snapped back down the page to where you were, then you don't have to scroll back down every time.

that's how you browser should work, if i understood your question/suggestion...
why not firefox and use the tabs?...you can have every forum and sub simultaneously active
