Hey Guys,

After MUCH deliberation, I have decided that I need to sell one of my cars, and get back into an E28 for a daily ride. Now that my 533i is running, and nearly on the road, I offer my current daily ride for sale.

83 633csi, 5 speed, LSD, Burgundrot over black comfort interior, sunroof, heated seats, all power options of course, 170k miles.

I'll start with the bad points first:

-Clearcoat has gone away on the roof
-Both rear wheel arches are starting to rust
-Driver's front fender is rusty
-Passenger inner fender has some rust from fender bender before I owned it. This is not visible in the engine bay, but it is from the wheel well
-Headliner piece on sunroof is missing
-Power locks do not work, although I will likely fix them before sale
-Wiper linkage is loose, and chatters like hell sometimes
-Oil leak from front crank seal
-Shifter needs rebuild, although it will also likely be fixed before sale. I ordered all the parts from Brian, but used them in my 533i instead
-Split seam on driver's seat. This will be fixed before sale
-Dash has cracks

Now for the good:
-Despite paint/rust issues, car looks overall very, very good. My body shop quoted me $1500CDN to fix all the rust, and paint the roof, and quarters.
-Interior is overall in very good shape. Good daily driver condition
- Engine is a very strong 3.2L that does exactly what a good M30 should do.
-Transmission shifts smoothly, and runs nice and quiet
-LSD in great shape, quiet
-Recently rebuilt driveshaft
-Recent tune up with new plugs, cap, rotor, and wires
-Passed emissions with flying colours 3 months ago
-Has never failed to start, or left me stuck anywhere
-750il front brakes including new Sebro rotors, Pagid pads, flex hoses, and rebuilt calipers
-New stock rear brakes with Jurid pads, and new Sebro rotors
-Brakes have less than 3000 miles on them
-Koni shocks, Eibach springs, Koni swaybars, new bump stops, and strut bearings, all with less than 2000 miles
-All new control and thrust arms with less than 2000 miles
-Pitman arms(dog bones) with less than 2000 miles
-16" Mille Miglia MMII wheels in charcoal grey with 225/45/16 front, and 245/45/16 rear Falken FK451 tires. Tires have less than 3000 miles
-H4 headlights
-New in tank fuel pump
-New fan clutch
-New clutch slave
-All new fuses and relays
-Recently cleaned sunroof drains
-New Panasonic CD player with Clarion 6x9's in the rear pods
-Brand new BMW shift knob

Overall, this is a very good car, and has never let me down. I have taken it on several long distance trips, and it is always a great companion. Gets good mileage on the freeway, and cruises very comfortably, as a 6er should. I have never actually figured out the rear end, but it is a 3.07, or possibly even a 2.93. I've never driven one so relaxed on the freeeway. 4th gear is the gear of choice, up to nearly 100mph. I seldom use 5th.

I'm sure this car will make someone very, very happy. Great way to get into a good coupe for not a lot of money. Speaking of money, asking price is $8500CDN(about $7350USD) as is, or we can "de-option" it, and sell it off for much less. I would love to keep the wheels, tires, and suspension for my 533i, which could take the asking price down a few notches($6500ish CDN). Car is located in Vancouver, BC, and I would be happy to take it as far as Seattle for delivery, or to drop it off for cross country shipping. Shipping is up to the buyer, but I am happy to help you arrange it.
