Subject: still e36 q's

Where to jack up these heavy cars, where are the jacking point under those???
I am using a floor jack and everytime i want to jack it i dont know where to put it !!

btw, my floor jack decided to repair itself...

the jacking points are also your tow points. there are 4 spots under the car where you will find either a plastic flat round peice or a hole where the T-hook goes. If all your plastic peices are missing then you will see 4 holes. Those are the jacking points for the floor jack. As for BMW jack, i am not sure if it's the same on the 325 as it is on the m3, but on the m3, there are 4 round covers on the rockers. Pull the covers off and you will the holes. The jack has a rod that goes into the hole (you can stop giggling now).

yikes. sounds like they are hiden under some bondo...
I must have looked a bit more there before buying this car...

anyway, it runs good, thats it.
