Subject: Junkayrd Thought

Is there a way to get the tires off wheels I see in the junkyard? I hate the idea of fudging with the tires once I take them out of the yard. I figure that taking the tires off and leaving them would be a great solution.

JCWhitney sells a bead breaker (cheap!).

Or see if a gas station has an ol' one on the shelf like I did:
$50

I have both. Also check around for an old tire machine. I found one years ago for free. Pneumatics are shot, but I change all my tires now, and balance them myself as well.
