Subject: Hmm Bird Flu? Scared?

I just heard about the Asian Bird flu that some say will be a pandemic, anyone real nervous about this? I don't know, Maybe growing up with the constant threat of nuclear oblivion, it doesn't seem to frighten me, but at the same time....OH GAWD! NOOOO! WHAT WILL WE DO!!!!!

..hehe seriously though-

I know what you mean about growing up thinking we'd get nuked. Terrorism is piss ant compared to that too. At best they could destory a single city. When I was a kid we were looking at the death of all life on the planet.

People are wusses these days.

As for the flu it could be bad. I live in the boonies though -- it would suck but I could live out here pretty much forever without needing civilization. If it really hit hard I'd probably just hang out for a few months till it was over.

Thats what I'm thinking...like you said being a recluse comes very naturally to me as well. I sware there was this time I went two weeks with no human contact, I was fine but when I did talk to someone they appeared crazy as a loon to me and I'm sure I did to them as well hehe. Flu be damned! I'll pop 10,000 milligrams of Vitamine C a Day, (if it comes to that) sure I may get an ulcer but my immune system will be firing on all 4 cylinders!

My cats seem to be the only ones concerned.
It could cut into their supplimental/recreational food chain.
