I could get 1000X more incensed over the Saudis -- how about a Saudi Arabia Sucks.com?? Plenty of lying, deceiving, theiving, terrorist SOB's to be found there, doncha think??? But since GWB & GHWB are such great friends of the Saudi royal family we just have to ignore some troubling facts. I think I will go finish my French toast and put my beret on! ha! Later on, perhaps some Chateau Neuf de Pape with my French mistress.

although i didnt really mean to make any point with this post (i just thought that guy was funny), i agree with you a million percent. something like 15 out of the 19 9/11 terrorists were Saudi! Evil contradictions are afoot! like us trying to get the Iraqis to create a secular government and meanwhile Botch is touting that Meiers' broad's religious affiliations as a reason for supporting her. Makes me sick!! Religion and politics are best kept APART, for the benefit and protection of BOTH.

Perhaps someone should suggest that to Bush, point out the human rights issues at Guantánamo Bay, the way it ignores the rest of the worlds leaders over pullution and climate change and the fact it has most of the world's weapons of mass destruction.

Seriously, I have enjoyed myself in France. I doubt that I could enjoy Saudi Arabia. We are all part of the big, bad USA. What I mean is, we have lots of economic, cultural, military power. Sometimes we do great things with our power and other times we end up abusing it. Lots of folks will love to hate us. Some of it is envy and some of it is deserved. Sometimes I think it would be a luxury to be from a little country that is not the world's lightning rod for terrorists and folks who like to criticize and complain from all over the world. The big super power is not going to receive unconditional love from rival nations. We just need to live up to higher standards, not the low standards of Gitmo and elsewhere.
