Subject: 40dcoe choke options?

Now that its getting cold out, my car is getting harder and harder to start in the morning. I have sidedrafts on an early 71 car and there is no choke hooked up. This wasn't a problem in the summer. The car has a choke knob but the cable has been cut off.

What is the best choke option for these cars? Get a new cabel and hook up the manual choke? Is there some other type of choke that would make the process automatic? Thanks!

Remember that DCOEs are race carburators. So, no automatic gizmo. Simply hook-up a cable and pull it when needed.
