To keep the thread bump or 86 it? Vote? 2/3 majority? Let us know. Speaking for myself, I am for keeping it. Its easier to keep up with current discussions. In the case of bumping threads its popularity that stays, but I do understand the undying thread issue. Undying threads on a forum is an average of 3-4, and when people get tired of it, it dies out. Natural selection at work. But in any case let us know what will be the deciding factor.
-Thanks and keep up the good work!

although ....i think it's way too soon to be voting on changes to the board.....i mean, dude, iraq just voted yesterday

i say give it some time to grow on people....at this point many might make an emotional response rather than an intellectual one....too many are still crying about the change

Yes I believe you are correct, some are experiencing culture shock. Boredom appears to be ruling my day, Sundays..... no comment. I "need" to be more constructive...Fly2002Fly quietly looks elsewhere for his entertanement.

we will give that one a couple weeks and then will put it to a vote. Some are new to that feature/problem and might need a little time to get used to it or may be even like it.

The thing for me is that it takes alot more time to make sure I didn't miss a post. My reading time is limited so when I log in I've got a days worth of posts I want to sift thru. In order to be sure that I didn't miss anything that I was interested in I have to read the all the posts back to the 3rd page. Also Its harder to find posts from one or 2 days before if it didn't get bumped recently. Guess I'm just into having a point of reference for consistency. My wife turns the map every which way after every turn (works ok ir all the turns are 90deg) but I have to keep North at he top. I think Mike's idea to keep the threaded view chronological and the flat view Bump might be a good compromise. I guess we'll see in a couple of weeks. Personally I have no problems with the other changes of the board. I liked the old "style" but I'm here for the info and interaction. Again Thanks to everyone involved in what is sure turning out to be a mammoth project!
