Subject: Master Cylinder Q's

I'm in dire need of a master cylinder for my '70 2002...

I've found a few on Ebay recently and the prices seem reasonable enough.

My questions:
What (if any) are the differences between ATE and FAG brands?

Is one recommended more than the other?

The cylinder I have is the stock one for 1970. I think it's and ATE.

Should I just go with the same and play it safe?

any input would be greatly appreciated.

anyone have a master cylinder they wanna part with for a fellow FAQ user?

Both brands are quality. the one worry with ebay is getting a warentie done. ITs cheap for a reason, will they box it right, are the internal rubber components still in good shape from it sitting..

For my money I don't do internet buying of brake parts. It HAS to work.

That's sound advice. Thanks!

Brakes aren't where I should be trying to save costs I guess...
