Thanks Robert for pulling off a fun drive.

I think it would have been easier to keep up with all of you if I was able to drive my 2002. The weather was great, I had fun, and there weren't any problems despite the 3,000 bicyclists.

I uploaded 2 pictures to the web at:

The second picture might have been better if I waited 30 sec. Oh well.

p.s aligning the headlight buckets and adding those little metal tabs are now on the agenda before I paint the new nose.

I had a great time today. I must say that today was the hardest I have driven my car since I have owned it. I didnt think my suspension was going to hold out going through all the turns and trying to keep up with the Turbo. It was great meeting you guys and nice to see some of you again. This was my first "drive" and I look foward to many more.

Thanks for organizing it and thanks for the invite.

Christian

PS. I have a few pics if anyone wants them emailed to them or if someone could tell me how to post them on this board.

Glad you had a good time. Hopefully your 71 02 will be ready to get muddy next year!

I am already talking to Larry about something similar for next year, but I am trying not to get to "structured". Maybe a "relaxed" rally through the same area. Grand prize a bottle of wine or a my old tires!

Robert
