Subject: Chat feature

Here's what I get when I click on "CHAT"

Hello and Welcome to BMW 2002 Chat on the IRC!!
If you have any questions, please email Rob at championship_outlaws@hotmail.com.
Please enter your Nick Name and click Connect!

Below that I have a large box, and a red X. Whats wrong? Is there something I need to download?

Thanks

You need to have Java enable to use the chat. The first time you run it it should also tell you that you are about to run a java app and ask you if you want to do that. If you answer yes, you get the chat, if no, then... well you get nothing.

Do you know if you have Java installed on your machine and the plug in is working? For more Java info go to http://java.com/en/download/index.jsp

good luck,
steve k.

p.s. some companies will block IRC ports to prevent use of chats, so you might not be able to use them from work :(
