Ok so I have around 100 miles on my compleate new engine. I was hoping for a huge perfomance increase but I am trying to keep below 4000 RPM, so it is a little hard to gauge it. I still get a little "twitch" around 35-3700 RPM right before I shift, like it is missing slightly. It has a 284 re-grind cam, 32-36 webber & I also got a new 002 mech dizzy to replace the old shitty vacuum advance. I have to say it is nice to not see any oil, smoke, leaks, and have a spotless engine bay without the smog stuff.

How many miles should I drive before I really open it up? I only put around 250-350 miles a month on it over the last 5 years.
