Subject: Overheating

Hi,
My 1972 Tii seems to run hot all the time about 6mm from the red line on the guage, though goes up another 4mm when I put the lights on. Puzzling me a bit, anyone got any answers?

I recently changed the dodgy thermostat but its's still the same.
