My wife and I welcomed a baby girl into our lives; needless to say, family is so much more important now! I do find time after the girls go to bed, to work on the old girl! Looking forward to take her to Bimmerfest this year!!

Damn those are wide wheels. When you say rear is custom, you mean like a different subframe? Think an 8 inch et 20 will fit on the a stock but rolled rear? I'm thinking of getting some wider wheels.

Edit: just read your other thread and answered my questions. I need some 8 inch wheels all around!

thanks man!,

Im trying to Slam my car, For a while it was the lowest 2002 on sprngs, but now Im looking for a little more low....

My dilema is that I have tii Struts in the car right now. and I have a set of stock struts in the back yard...

Im not sure I want to cut into the tii struts for coilovers, if that makes sense.

how do those suspension geometry roll center spacers work? do they raise/ lower the subframe? I have an aftermarkey oilpan and hoe it wont interfere

Having to sets of struts sounds great; you could use either set, the only difference would be your brake options? but that option is made simple with Massive brake kits. The coilover and shock setup was made at Ground Control, the shock that was used is a super short Koni 16way adjustable. Spring travel was increased. If money isn't an issue, Ground Control does a really nice job.
AKG spacer lowers the control arm/ball joint/ steering arm(return closer to stock geometry)and doesn't raise the geometry.

Thank you!!! I am building a Drift02!(in a few week I will post photos of the new front suspension, it's all Drift02) I would love to share ideas? The car will be at Bimmerfest finished or not! Hope to see your 02 before the show.

I'm building my car as a dual purpose car: drift and grip. Or should I say triple purpose? It's still my DD too(for now) lol. Are you gonna go to the Thunderdrift events? I've gone twice with my friends in their Datsun 510s and hopefully next time I can take the 02. If so, are you sure the m20 will have enough power for the entire circuit?

Your car sounds like it will be a great car! I hope to see your car one day? This car hasn't seen any track time. I would love to tag along to the next Thunder Hill event. The motor is a newly build stroker with no miles on it(motor sounds great) can't tell you if the motor will make any power, hopefully it will; the motor will see a Dyno, as soon as I complete the new front suspension.

Subject: Re: icustomM20 Here are some photos!mk5Fusebox/E30pedal asse

The reason I ask about the engine is because one 510 has a supercharged 2.4 liter KA engine running 4 lbs of boost and has to run 155 tires to drift the 4th gear corners at Thunderhill. We think he makes about 200 whp. The other datsun runs an SR20DET with about 260whp and can do everything with 205 tires no problem.

Here's a video of the KA Datsun in action:

I hope to have between 250-275 whp. If not, back to drawing board; I do have two (more work)other motors to try? Don't tell anyone...I love 510's!
