Subject: More History Buffs- last date for the Porsche synchros?

In sorting through my pile of (mostly junk) 4- speeds,
I found only 1 Porsche- style. (you can tell from how it shifts.)

It's got a date code of early 1970.

By early 72, the next- oldest one's got BW style synchros.

When, 'zactly, d'ya think it changed over?

Macartney's book sez...
Porsche type synchros were used up to August 1970... ...and up to... 2002 chassis # 2611757... and 2002 USA 1676333. page 87.

Howzzat?
