Great weekend. In the qualifying race, I mamaged to move up from 19th to 14th in group 8. Sunday, the rains came about 15 minutes before we were ready to start our race. I declined the offer to go out and do battle with the sealer since I'm signed up to go to the Pittsburg Vintage GP. Sorry,

Thanks for stopping by!!! We left the shop on Tuesday morning and arrived home Monday evening. We were gone a week. My wife said "no more Mid-Ohio". Do you think I can talk her into my going to the Glen in September? I'm not counting on it.

I did the parade laps on my little 165x13's, and it absolutely felt like I was on ice (and I've been on a lot of ice, I know the feeling)! The mini's ahead of us (real minis) were sideways for a lot of the lap (and loving it). I can't imagine what slicks, or even wets would be like on that surface. Later, the sun came out, and it turned into a very nice day.

The sealers that they've laid down at Mid Oh the past two years have almost made the track undriveable in the wet. It's really getting bad. You can't go anywhere *near* the dry line if there's real water on track. Last year you could at least put two wheels on the sealer and be all right, now they've laid even more down, and it's just soild ice. It's really nasty.

Tom, Sorry I missed you on Sunday. We were out at Carousel (turn 13) watching the action and never made it back to check out the infield. You had some nice company with the 2000CS and M5. A good weekend in spite of the rain. Karl _________________ Listen. Think. Share. Repeat.
