Subject: Two post lift

Hey folks,

It looks like I'm finally getting a real shop (YIPPEEE) and I may be able to satisfy my dream of a two post lift (asymmetrical, clear floor).

This is purely non-commercial, so I really don't want to spend the money something that will withstand 100 cycles/day X 5 days/week x 50 weeks/year, but nor do I want to purchase a death trap.

Does anyone have suggestions for lifts under $1500 (or so)??

Thanks mucho!

John N

Hi,
i only have a recommendation
for getting a lift. i called a few
local lift service shops and asked
if they had any used lifts. most
did have at least two choices.
and the average installed price
was $800. i now have an old
hoffman lift, which appears to
be almost new.
try this way and you may get
a great deal.
good luck

a friend has one he picked up a few weeks ago and it's too big for his
(or my) garage. I'm thinking it would probably be unfeasible to ship. South Louisiana, Don

(well almost anything), but it would be a sumbitch for you to crate up.

Let me know if you're interested, though. . .

I second that. Call BendPack, they have some nice ones, and they have expert installers. Installing a lift is something left for the pros.

Their dealer in the area may have a recondition one.
