Upon realizing a little late that the '81-'83 E21 hubs required for the swap use lug bolts instead of studs, can anybody give me a good spec for the type of stud necessary for this swap? I know the thread diameter/pitch is M12x1.50, but what's a good length? Is there any stud, like the ones for the intake and exhaust manifolds, that have a shoulder so that the stud can butt up against the hub?

Thanks, I just ordered the Ireland studs, they look like they're exactly what I want.
cdiesel I decided to go ventilated rotors after bringing my car to the track -- I've noticed brake fade before on the roads around here, but the level of fade I noticed at the track was fierce!

Make sure you use some good hi-temp brake fluid, eg Super Blue, Motul, etc and good pads eg Performance Friction, Hawk, Porterfield when running at the track. _________________ Good Luck,
