Subject: Black Integra GSR Leather Seats Installed Pictures

I thought I would share some pictures. The installation wasn't by no means just a bolt-in application. I had to remove seat rails from integra seat and cut them down to the base of seat rail. The majority of the time was spent cutting and grinding the integra rails off.

I drilled holes in the base of integra seat rails. Then, I made new holes in the stock seat rails to bolt to the integra seats. Once I did that I just bolted them to the original bolts holes in the floor. I did had to leave one side of the seat loose to actually bolt the last 2 bolts in, but the spacing between the seat rails is pretty close to BMW seats.

I thought integra seats were a good option considering the availability and cost of them. I bought mine decent quality for 300 shipped off of ebay. All you need is patience to spend fabricating the seats.

I still need to finish putting the trim pieces on the seats. I have one piece on already, but I think the driver seat trim piece will have a little fabricating to fit.

That looks very nice. Well done. It's nice to know that's a decent option.

I've always liked Honda seats. My experience with them is that they are a nice blend of sport and comfort, though I've always thought the bolster on the bottom of the seat wasn't quite enough.

Nice!

Very nice job. Without knowing what I was doing, I took some seats from an late 80's prelude and using a hammer and big channel locks managed to get them to bolt directly into my 71 02. The only modifications involved bending the existing honda seat rails to conform to the 02 mounting points. I later found another pair of seats from a later model prelude. I thought I measured correctly, but found the seat rails were different than the first pair. I am told there are no differences, but that was not my experience.

Can you please identify exactly which YEAR model was the donor for your seats? Do the seats have anything the model year on them?

The rear Integra seat fits surprisingly well too. Danuel here at my shop has front & rear Integra seats in his M20 powered '76.

I bought these seats off of ebay. From the ad, it specifies 1995 year model acura integra gsr. The seats are not in that bad of condition. I just had to clean them up with leather cleaner alot.
