I am in Twentynine Palms, CA for the next couple days and am hoping someone might know of a 2002 parts shop that is not too far away. From what i have seen, all the good ones are 5 hours away in the Bay Area... :( Any suggestions are appreciated! _________________ 1976 2002

If you have been reading this forum for a while, you would be aware that there are a number of shops specializing in 02's within a couple hours of driving in Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego Counties. These include several shops that post here routinely including Ronin, Aardvark, 2002AD, etc.
Why don't you post EXACTLY what you are looking for instead of asking such a general question? 29 Palms is not exactly the center of the 02 universe.

HealyK, I a not sure why you are jumping down my throat for asking a very simple question? Not all good shops have online shopping or even websites, and was just hoping someone who knew the area might be able to point out a shop that maybe a few people from the area would know.
I did not mean to offend you or anyone else by not spelling out the EXACT part that i am looking for or the EXACT distance that i am willing to drive, because i am not looking for an exact part nor do i have a preset distance that i am willing to drive, i was just looking for a shop that i might be able to go in and see something that i like. Hey, I was not offended and you should not be so sensitive. I was trying to be helpful especially since I am a former Keystoner.
You are not going to find that many shops that have 02's about. It is not clear from you post what your true intentions were as opposed to just making an adventure out of things. If you want to see 02's I would think 2002Ad somewhere near Pomona might be your best bet. Getting work done on an 02 is another thing. Coupe King in Wilmington is probably just as far as LaJolla and he has a number of vintage 70's stock. Most of these folks have their own websites.

I had never heard of Coupe King, looks like a very nice place, if i get a free day i would like to visit a couple of the shops you guys have mentioned.
