Wife said that I couldn't name it after a car, and when we both agreed to Cooper (mostly her), I thought nothing of it.....
We were walking into a restaurant, and she happened to look over and see a Mini Cooper sitting there (rear end facing us) and she stopped dead in her tracks......she asked me.. "What is that?"....I said "That's a Mini Cooper S"......"Who makes it? I've never heard to that car? she asks with hestitation to the answer. "BMW...." I replied... My wife turned around to face me, thinking that I was going to get the look of death and she said "I like it....how much is it?"
The topic of naming our animals after cars never came up again...

morning asleep under our VW Beetle. We lived out in the country at the time and someone had evidently dumped him off along the road.
Some years later when we got a Sahara-colored Cocker Spaniel puppy, I tried to name him Bimmer 'cause he matched my car, but loving wife vetoed the idea. We ended up naming him "Buddy Trouble" because "Trouble" was his middle name.

My wife and I have two 1 year old sister cats we adopted from the local rescue league. All Black kitty is Lotus and the Tuxedo one is Nola. They are a handful. Nola loves to sneak in the garage and hide under my tii. _________________ Jim Gerock
