Sure we could go to any other track day and mix it up with other suposedly faster makes BUT just once (or once a year if it works out) wouldn't it be nice to see nothing but 02's in the paddock and track? Many of these folks have been to many events where they hardly see even one other '02. While others are intimidated by being on track with very much faster cars. I know that in VARA there's many 02's on track but... To have nothing but 02's would be a mind boggling experience, would it not?
Wouldn't you like to mix it up with a tricked out S14 or Alpina A4s powered '02 rather than just someone in your vintage class?
Or see someone in their mostly stock one drifting like you'd never see in a more modern Bimmer... Wouldn't you like to Instruct someone in an '02, a car that you really
know and can teach some real good, rather than go for some wild ride in some nut's Corvette?
If it all works out according to plan (dreams... :) we may be able to work this together with some kind of Alfa, Datsun.... /BMW track day with a classic B-Sedan race group on the same day/weekend... in the future. Now wouldn't THAT be nice?
Maybe we could work it into some kind of California Melee
http://www.californiamelee.com/ but on track. With not only 02's but many other period Marques.....
Ramble, ramble... Sorry if I went off, sometimes my enthusiasm gets the best of me...
And well, why not?
