For other repairs that have been done and you should know about.

Left and right body mounts, repaired with 16g steel.
Rockers were all solid
Replaced spare wheel well, with OEM
Rear shock towers are solid in and out.

Inspection report from the ZenWrench

Motor:
9.5:1 European compression pistons. E12 cylinder head casting.
Driven under 2000 miles since full professional rebuild (new
seals, bearings, oil pump, valve guides, new stock camshaft,
springs, fuel system rebuild, etc). Valves adjusted at 1K miles, just tuned at Blue Ridge in Baltimore.

body:
Frame rail patches done reasonably well, but quite visible.
Floor pan sections, welded panels also apparent but solid and
clean. I was not able to find any rust on the body, though some
body filler was used to contour the rear wheel arch on one side.
Trunk floor and panel alignment – all good. Some minor flaws in
body work – but very presentable.

Interior:
Upholstery – all new matching tan vinyl covers – but new seat
padding and professional reinstallation recommended for front
Recaro seats. New very nice quality carpet – all interior panels
complete and tidy. New headliner, etc. Dashboard is probably an
8 out of 10 (very good - no large ugly cracks or distortion.)
Gauges all function without glitches. Factory BMW 2002turbo steering wheel!

Seals and chrome 90% new (rear windshield seal re-used but good,
front lockstrip for windshield requires reinstallation and/or
replacement).

Suspension:
Steering box required adjustment and was done (20 minute
job) and front end needs
alignment recommended. Drives and stops straight. Has new
Bilstein HD shocks/struts. Stock springs, and larger (21mm or
22mm) front swaybar. Stock otherwise.

brakes – good firm pedal, stops straight, no fade.

Aplina style 20 spoke wheels missing center roundel.
