Well it was a fairly productive weekend. Finished my swirl pot, got it all tied up and my walbro pump in. Started er up, no leaks! Apparantly all that practice welding aluminum paid off. I didn't measure capacity but close to 2 liters. Its a e21 in tank for the lift pump, and a Walbro gs392 high pressure. I read that pump was loud, but HOLY )(*#&$&)(, that thing will wake the neighbors. Even though it would be huge overkill and totally uneccesary, I'm sorry I didn't get the Bosch 044 pump. Quieter and would last a lifetime (knock against the Walbros is noise and dependability, so "they" say").
I'll end up re-doing the lines slightly, and I'm not happy with the tank side aluminum cover as it will be a pain if I have to take the intank pump or gas tank out, so I'll redo that slightly different, but that can wait. Still have to weld in a few brackets here and there and then I can paint.
Exhaust is now fully complete. 3" all the way, OVER the subframe, and a Borla in the back. No rattles while revving the bejesus out of the car on the hoist. Debated on how to tip it, decided on simple - polished stainless straight out. Done and done.
Next stop, rear coilovers. Need to push the lower mount points in a bit to gain more clearance as the sleeves are virtually hitting the tires, and I don't want to run spacers as then my tires will rub.
