For the last two days after I stop the car and come back 10 min later she will not start. Lokking under the hood I notice the fuel filter is dry. Once I get fuel back up to the filter I have to wait a good hour before I can start her again due to flooding I assume.
Question, is this new fuel pump mechanical gone bad or could it be something else? _________________ '75 Alpine Weiss I

I have a 1970 and if your filter and pump is like mine, maybe is the fuel pump, last time I had this problem was the carburetor, try to spray starting fluid in the morning and see if she can start. _________________ Thanks All

Thanks and your basically right! Th effing floats were stuck. Open them with my hand and she fired right up.

you can place a Non return fuel valve. it wil help also
