These two Californians had a blast meeting you today, and we can't wait for a chance to meet you again, or an opportunity to reciprocate.

Thanks for the hospitality.

William and Jessie

William (& Jessie): Very good to meet you. Sorry I had to dash off to work so fast. You are welcome to drop in on us too. Mary & I live all of 15 min. away from Mike & Carol. I got a quick look at your tii -- very nice! Good luck w/the rest of your journey.

hey im thinkin if you come thru Athens, just pull off on the Stimson Avenue exit and meet me at the KFC. I live a block away. Thats probably the easiest thing. Then i can show u around or get a cup of coffee.

I've gotta do some work on my throttle cable tomorrow, but hopefully the 02 will be mobile. But if not, I'll be on the 50cc Yamaha street bike, cuz i be pimpin.

Kevin,

Thanks for being generous with your time earlier today, and showing Jessie and me around Athens. We enjoyed the visit and look forward to the next one.

Take care,

William

yeah, great that you enjoyed Athens. ya shoulda stuck around. im not into heavy metal, but holy crap, Colossus out of NC rocked the house tonight. my eardrums are still recovering. you wouldnt believe the live music in this town.

and yeah we didnt talk about it, but my 02 was barely gettin by today with the throttle cable thats broken many times on me. i spent all day after u left riggin up a new one. strangely, the kill switch bar cable from a lawn-boy push mower has an awesomely strong multi-stranded cable that i'm using for a throttle cable tonight.
me and uriah and whoever else i can load up from A-town are going to The Wilds (thewilds.org) tomorrow. good luck on yer journey man, we be holdin it down on the midwest-side here in Athens.

by the way, as you left did you happen to notice the white 997 GT3 parked on Court Street? kinda strange seeing a $100K+ car in Athens.
