Subject: alternator plug wires hookup

so on my previous 2002 i cut up the 3 wire plug because it wasn't staying put in the back of the alternator, and crimped new connectors and plugged em in


i need to know which wire goes where, cause theres no rubber plug for the wires on the tii im putting together


the wires are black, brown, and blue

which goes where?

The blue wire is D+, the brown wire is D- and the black wire is DF.

As best as I can tell, top to bottom is brown, black, blue. I am sure the blue is the bottom terminal. Based on continuity meter readings, both the brown and black harness wires connect to ground with the ignition off, but I read between the harness terminals and knicks/cracks in the insulation and used resistance differences to id the brown and black terminals.
