Took these at Palo Alto meet in 05. He is on this board but I can't remember his screen name. He moved from Calif to texas soon after the meet. I know some of the NorCal Guys can give you much more info.

It was a very cool arrangement.

I just pulled these from the Bay Area 02 site.
Swap and show #5.
I remembered the Pic, but never saw it in person.

Found the Isetta on google image

Very off topic but where would one find a small trailer like this these days? I would like to do some sight seeing and pulling one of these behind an E30 would not bother fuel economy to a degree with an S50 in one.

Any help in a direction would help.

and the idea of towing more than #500 with a 2002 terrifies me.

This from someone who tows #4000 across deserts behind a gen1 montero...

the silver 02 pulling the teardrop trailer seen above is owned by my mother.

it can be seen here

http://www.schusterphoto.com/gin's%2002.htm

I rebuilt the teardrop and I bet it weighs less than 500 lb

I have a 73 2002tii that I also use to pull a teardrop I built from the ground up and you can't even tell it is back there. but, I do feel the eight of the hitch has dampened the handling of the car. that might just be my brain playing a trick on me.

btw, mom's rebuilt 1950's teardrop is still in the bay area and I think she is considering to sell it.

Don't you love it when CD busts out with these images just like that?. I would love to hack into his vault.
