My experience with downshifting via the gas pedal is that the RPMs are too high and the resulting shift is made with a harsh jerk - not smooth at all.
Drop the shift lever from D to 2 and use the gas pedal to control the engine. Not as satisfying as a manual tranny but easier on the drivetrain if done correctly. _________________ -Jerzy Socha

hey in that diagram....what is part 16? i think that's what's missing off my gas pedal which allows the foot pedal to slip slide all over the place.......NOT SAFE!
also, the gas pedal is a bit sticky.......any suggestions?
