but wait, I thought there was a consensus it is happening?

Now one might think/assume that when 31,000+ American scientists sign a petition against the notion of man-made global warming it would make headline news, right? Not in the main-stream media.

thankfully there is the internet.

But why is it just American scientists?
It would hold more water if this were a global consensus.

And I refer to it not as global warming, but the Global Climate Fuc_up.

Dude, there are 2500 MDs and DVMs there. MDs know nothing about climate science and veternarians? Come on, being a dog doctor makes you qualified to sign? 12850 people with only a BS -- that could you or me. Well, you, since I wouldn't sign it. And the rest? Well,a ccording to the Web site "All of the listed signers have formal educations in fields of specialization that suitably qualify them to evaluate the research data related to the petition statement. " Suitably qualify? By whose standards?

Given how skeptical you are in general (a good thing, not a dig), I thought you'd be more skeptical here...

Yeah, this "petition" doesn't get MSM coverage because it's basically BS:

I KEEP HEARING THE TERM "SCIENTIFIC CONSENSUS" .
IN FACT , "SCIENTIFIC" & "CONSENSUS" ARE AN OXYMORON WHEN
USED TOGETHER !

SCIENCE IS NOT A DEMOCROCY . IF EVERYONE IN A ROOM FULL OF
SCIENTISTS BELIEVES ONE THEORY BUT ONE SCIENTIST HAS ANOTHER
IDEA THAT HE CAN PROOVE TO BE RIGHT , THE MAJORITY LOOSES .

THE PROOF IS ALL THAT MATTERS AND PROOF OF ANYTHING RELATED
TO GLOBAL WARMING IS WHAT IS LACKING .
( THIS IS WHY THEY SAY DON'T WAIT AROUND FOR THE PROOF , ACT
NOW BEFORE IT's TOO LATE ! )

THE VERY USE OF THE WORD "CONSESNUS" IN REGARD TO GLOBAL
WARMING SHOULD BE A RED FLAG THAT SAYS THIS IS NOT ABOUT
SCIENCE .
