Subject: Cracked distributor rotor- need suggestions on a replacement

My 02's been jumping around when idling. I've had the leads pulled off and tested, seems they're fine.

When I pulled off the distributor cap, I noticed the rotor is crackedwhere the contact sits. Could this be what's causing the problem?

I'm going to replace the rotor anyway, can anyone suggest a suitable replacement rotor that won't break the bank, such as a Bosch?

My 02's a December '73 model, with square lights.

Just replaced my rotor at a total cost of $4.95. Probably one of the cheapest parts you can buy for your 02!! Bought mine from Bavarian Autosport but you can get them almost anywhere.

Thanks guys

Do you know the part number at all Sarki?
I'm looking at these two types:

Any suggestions which would be better? The first one looks more like the one I pulled out.

Cheers

I had the second one which is the plain jane that and not with the limiter. I would recommend replacing with the same design you currently have if you were happy with the performance prior to it cracking.

I think I'll go for the plain version, I'm not sure I need the addition of the rev limiter.

Thanks everyone
