Noob here :) does these two items equal each other or do I need to have both? Is one better than the other? Looks like this is the final part I need for the twin weber conversion.

Thanks

double valve springs will allow you to run at higher revs (more) safely. this is to prevent valve float.

rocker locks prevent the rocker arms from moving sideways on the rocker shafts (as opposed to the spring providing minimal force to keep the rockers put)

the rocker locks are relatively inexpensive.

if you decide to get double valve springs you will have to have new (later) valve guides installed in your cylinder head, as 4 of the stock ones are too fat to use with doubles

Is your cam stock? Because in that case double springs are not necessary. If your cam approaches 300 degrees you'll need them.

No, completely different function, BUT,
usually used together, as they solve 2 different problems
that can occur at high revs.

Stock revs, stock cam, no problems.

Personally, I like the locks because it makes taking the head apart that
much easier...

Personally, I hate the springs because they're hard to compress.
But you need 'em when you start winding over 6500...

Yes I will be dropping a 292 reground. So it looks like you guys suggest I get both for safety measures no problem.
Another quick question: I adjust my valves at home. Would these two items affect the way I adjust the valves? Stock gap?

Thanks guys!

Ahmed, neither affects the way you adjust valves. I believe the gap is the same, I use 6 thou on my Ireland 292 regrind, but you should check with Ireland.
