You guessed correctly. I used the motorsports setup. They are great cameras and shoot video at 29fps. I'm cutting up the 24 Hours of leMons video now.

Some of the 5th grade classes are getting those Flip Video Cameras too. Cool.

It was SO fun. It's a "non" competitive rally, so we are all winner I guess. Ha. The tii made it and so I was happy with that.

That great sound would be Norm's 2.5L. You can hear the intake and exhaust a little bit on my tii, but it doesn't sound nearly as good as his!

Sounds great- and that was BEFORE the Saturday night muffler mods on Norms coupe.

And you got it wrong Evan- it IS a competitive rally. Not between the competitors, but between your 30 year old car and attrition.

I drive my '74 4 nights a week working 5 to 6 hour shits doing deliveries in San Francisco (its a side job). It works out to approximately 200 miles a week just for deliveries and that is with constant starting. A rally is a simple cruise compared to that.

I always wonder why people are afraid that their 2002 is going to leave them in the lurch. Preventative maintenance goes a long way!

hmm, now i have to decide which camera to get. I like that the flip has the screen and tripod mounting hole. but Go is just tiny and can be placed anywhere.

The Hero3 GoPro Camera Motorsports edition is what you want. The Motorsports edition has a suction cup mount and two other mounts (one for curved surfaces - the other for flat surfaces) also included are extra pieces of mounting tape. Not to mention I can get you extra mounting slots.

The Flip definitely has some good aspects, but I think the GoPro Camera is the superior set up for what we use it for. The poly Carbonate case alone is worth it to me. The camera I put on the Alfa got knocked off when the dude with the V8 volvo bumped them and survived being knocked around for 3 hours last Sunday. AND it stll works!!

The leMons footage is awesome. I'll have it playing tomorrow.

I'll have cameras to sell tomorrow. I've only got 12 so let me know!
