Bay Area 02 Swap & Show....
For those folks in the greater Sacramento area (and along I-80 between Sacramento and the Bay area), here's the current drive plan:
Meeting point : Safeway parking lot @ Alhambra & J Streets, Sacramento
Departure time: 7am
How to get there:
• From Business 80 westbound, take the J St exit off the elevated, turn left at the bottom of the ramp onto J St, go two blocks to Alhambra and turn right into the lot just past Alhambra.
• From Business 80 eastbound, take the N St exit off the elevated, go four blocks on 30th St, turn right at J St, go two blocks to Alhambra & turn right into the lot just past Alhambra.
• From points east, west or south of downtown, take US 50, US 99 or Biz 80 to the 50/99/80 interchange, take Biz 80 eastbound, and follow the above directions from Business 80 eastbound.
For folks who may want to get food, coffee, gas or cash before leaving town, I’ll post a list of nearby services in a couple of days – if memory serves, there are both Starbucks & Peets coffee shops, Bank of America & Wells Fargo bank branches, McDonalds, Taco Bell & Burger King fast food outlets and several gas stations within a 6 block radius.

Hey Barry, are ya' gonna' take 80 all the way to 101 South in SF or... 80 to 680 to 24 then across the bridge to get to 101? There's a group starting in Walnut Creek that may want to join up w/ us there. _________________ Tom Jones

I may try to get the biys to hook up with the Walnut Creek group. I have about 6 cars.

ill be leaving from sac also but not till 830 ish, have to stop by dmv and get a 1 day permit to drive my car.
