Somebody check this out, Agave/Tobacco. Looks pretty clean, could be a deal:

Not mine, no affiliation, blahblahblah...

I have some detailed pictures of this car if anyone is interested (if the owner doesn't mind). There is some rust that needs attention. I haven't seen the car in person yet though.

email them to me. My brother lives near there. (I emailed them for directions, they replied.) He inspected that last one I imported...

I stopped by and checked the car out yesterday. Great car for the money!! Twin sister to my '73 Agave Tii, but more original pieces. Drove it for about 10 minutes. Started immediately from cold and idled really well. Mechanically feels very strong with the only problem being a little resistance between 1st and 2nd, but by no means unreasonably. Brakes are strong and no pull to either side. Manifold rattles a little, but everything is where it should be in the engine compartment. Matching numbers. Paint is fresh everywhere except the roof. Sunroof has one broken cable in it, and has to be adjusted a bit. Owner has taken good care of the car. Claims that the PO had it in California as well. Only rust is bubbling around the back wheel wells and the back of the rocker panel, both sides. Shock towers are clean, as are the floor panels and the spare tire well. Owner is full disclosure, so don't be afraid to ask for the relevant pictures. She will provide. Price is most definitely right. Only reason I didn't pick it up as a twin to mine is because my pregnant wife who must be obeyed put the kybosh on it!! Best of luck to whoever gets the car.

How bad is the rust on the rockers? From the pictures I saw it looked like there was a hole in the spare tire well, is that not the case?

That is the weak point. Pretty much gone right at the rear jack point on both sides. But it is localized there, and doesn't appear to extend to the rest of the rocker. Very odd that it is only there, but I poked around a good bit. That and the wheel arches bubbling. Spare tire well is clean. The hole you see is just the drainage hole in the center without the rubber plug in it.
