This is what I used. It did a very good job cleaning and sealing my tank. Good luck!

I took mine to Radiatorland. Cost about $100 and I don't have to dispose of any nasty chemicals. They had it done in a day.

look in your local YELLOW PAGE directory
for "Automotive Radiator Repair" shop.
Let professionals 'boil' it out for you & leak test the seams.
They will return it clean, soldered, and painted for surprisingly
little money.

Or just replace it with a new tank and have insurance against future
fuel system failure for the nest 28 years. New is available from any dealer.

POR-15 have a fuel tank sealing kit. It comes with a cleaner, etcher and paint. Follow the steps and its really simple. Also wire brush the outside BEFORE tipping in the paint. That way when you tip the excess paint out, you can brush the outside with it. Its tough as nails when it dries. Mines been done 3 years now and no gas smell (seams were rusted). Beaner7102

im gonna have to second the POR-15, all the options here work but the kit por 15 has is really good and can be done over a weekend and i believe it is cheaper than KBS and obviously cheaper than having a radiator chop boil it or sandblast it and it works better and reseals better than lacquer.
