I use koni's with my suspension techniques springs. Sight unseen, almost any springs that lower the vehicle and the vehicle's center of gravity will improve handling. Your question is so broad as to be difficult to answer. There are o.e. linear springs then there are progressive springs each with different spring "rates"

Consider searching the archives. This subject including "shortened" springs and cutting the stock springs has been dealt with many times. It would help if your searched terms were spelled correctly unless you are searching for misspelled terms.

I use IE Stage 2 springs with Bilsports. Fixed camber plates, 195/60/14 Sumitomo tires. Urethane bushings in the rear and new rubber bushings in the front. E21 recaro seats. I plan to go to 15" here at some point.

Love it. Handles great. It is stiff, but it is definitely livable.

I asked Jeff the same question when I ordered them, he said some people around his shop used them on daily drivers and didn't have a problem with them.
