Anyone know what the part number is for the rubber spacer ring? ETK does not show this for the US spec headlights.

This part exists between the headlamp chrome-ish trim ring and the grille. So, you would have:

Headlamp > Headlamp chrome trim ring surround > "Rubber filler/spacer" > grille

I tried to show it in a pic of where it would be. If anyone knows I would appreciate it. It doesn't show up in the full parts catalog either.

Note: Pic shown is NOT my car, just using it for demo purposes so hopefully the owner doesn't mind :)

Subject: This part is used only on the pre mid-72 cars with

asymetric headlight trim rings and the deep headlight bucket grilles (prior to VIN 258-0165.) The parts book is hard to read, but it appears the part number is 63 12 8 650 109. Parts book shows it as "gasket" (pg 63-9) and the later retainer rings don't use a rubber gasket. IIRC the part has been NLA for years.

If it's not available, I think you can make a serviceable subsitute by going to a Home Depot/Lowes type place and buy a length of grey vinyl shower door bottom seal. That's the flexible sweep that's fixed to the lower edge of a shower door to keep water from leaking out while you're showering. Most glass shops have this also. If you can't find it, let me know and I'll bring a piece to you at V in V.

cheers
mike

I have a pair brand new. Bought them from Jaymic a while ago. They are gray colored. I think they are for Hella Euro style buckets but I am not sure.
PM if interested.

Mike,

Good info. Thanks.

Sounds like Bluedevil has what I am looking for. It is indeed grey.

I don't know how to PM you here but if you can just email me that would be great. Let me know what you want for them.
