Anybody can recommend where to find matching seat materials to match my saddle brown interior? I'm concern of finding the right color closed to saddle brown.

Hi, I had the same issue in looking for my interior in my 72 Malaga, no luck. The best I could do was material from a 70s Mercedez. It is close but not exact. I now opted to dye the newly upholstered seats.

I waited until I found a set of orignal front and rear seats in excellent (mint) condition that were from a 72. But they were black so I decided to change interior color. I also bought the rear panels. I cant find a set of black door panels (carda) in the same condition so Im dyeing my two fronts which are in good condition. I kept looking for over a year before I found this set. I checked ebay, craigslist and the FAQ reqularly.
While I would prefer saddle, I like the idea that I have seats that look factory fresh.

The closest I've been able to match saddle brown was also from a '70 mercedes. This material I speak of is produced by Gahh. See attached link, it's the 716 Mahogany Plain pattern...not an exact match but close.
Al Larson recovered my seats using this material and I was pleased.

Just wanna update with my latest search of this hard to find material
checked out http://www.worlduph.com and they seem to have what I'm looking for. Many choices of colour and they have bmw saddle brown too

Chris, Hi thanks for posting your update. Just a word of caution, World Upholstery was one of the places that I looked and they do not have the material. Unless something has changed since earlier in the year.
According to the reps there, the Original weave is only available in Black.
Do you have a direct link to the actual online sample?
