Jegs.com has the K&N assemblies.... might have to dig a bit, but they're there.

I need to pick up some of the 'socks' myself for velocity stacks, if anyone knows where to get them. I currently have window screens zip tied on. :)

I think its called Pegasus Autosport who sells different types of Pipercross filter setups and/or just elements (including "socks"). A lot of different places sell the socks though. Just do a google search.

I'm currently running Pipercross socks on my 45s. They're probably not very good at filtering the small stuff, but stock paper filters strangled my motor at high rpm (2.3l / big Schrick / etc...)

Try Pegasus racing Supplies or True Choice Motosports

And a weird factoid relayed to me that relates to both carb intake air flow as well as front oil cooler airflow (in all cars using a front mounted oil cooler - like Porsches, etc) - The square mesh used in window flyscreen and or / stainless mesh can actually disrupt the air flow and cause real air delivery problems....no kidding. I couldn't explain the actual fluid dynamics of it - but size of the mesh related to shape of intake hole / venturi can affect flow. On my own carbs - flyscreen messed up performance, and I got tired of choping up my fingers on the stuff's edges!

I spent only a year with a professional racing team - but they taught me loads of neat-o stuff.

Try the Unifilter kit from Pierce Manifolds. The Unifilter socks work good, just like the ones on dirt bikes. They slip over the short velocity stacks.
