is a racing SAAB hidding behind the branch on the right

Uncle Egdar was born in Dublin Va abt 1919, d abt 1972. He lived in Arlington VA and worked for the postal service. He was a charter subscriber to AQ.

I agree, the " looks european" does look like a Lancia. There were other pics of them too.
